S.I. No. 95/2011 - Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 (Commencement) Order 2011.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

"Iris Oifigiúil" of 4th March, 2011.

I, BRENDAN SMITH, Minister for Justice and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 34 of the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 (Commencement) Order 2011.

2. The 1st day of April, 2011 is fixed as the day on which the following provisions of the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 (No. 2 of 2011) shall come into operation:

(a) Sections 1 to 13,

(b) Sections 15 to 31,

(c) Sections 33 and 34,

and

(d) Schedules 1 to 3.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This Order provides for the coming into operation of the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011.

It sets the 1st day of April, 2011 as the date when sections 1 to 13, 15 to 31, 33 and 34 and Schedules 1, 2 and 3 of the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 come into operation.
