I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (2)(a) of the Ombudsman for Children Act 2002 (No. 22 of 2002) and the Office of the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 218 of 2011 ) and with the consent of the Minister for Justice and Equality, hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Ombudsman for Children Act 2002 (Section 11(2)(a)) Order 2012. |
||
2. Subsection (1)(e)(iii) of section 11 of the Ombudsman for Children Act 2002 shall cease to have effect on and after 1 July 2012. |
||
The Minister for Justice and Equality consents to the making of the foregoing Order. |
