Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

-�Iris Oifigiúil-� of 11th December, 2012.

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 11 of the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (First Schedule) (Amendment) Order 2012 and comes into operation on 1 January 2013.

2. The Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (First Schedule) Order 2010 (10) is amended in Part III of the First Schedule, by the insertion after -�Bovine Leucosis-� of -�Bovine Viral Diarrhoea-�.
