I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (1) of the Prisons Act 1970 (No. 11 of 1970) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), and after consultation with the Visiting Committee to Saint Patrick’s Institution, hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act 1970 (Section 7) Order 2013. |
||
|
2. The period of 6 months beginning on 28 June 2013 is specified for the purposes of section 7 of the Prisons Act 1970 (No. 11 of 1970). |
||
