I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 (1) of the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (No. 26 of 2013), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013. |
||
2. The 1st day of August 2013 is appointed as the day on which the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (No. 26 of 2013) (other than section 72) comes into operation. |

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) |

This order appoints the 1st day of August 2013 as the day on which the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (No. 26 of 2013) (other than section 72) shall come into operation. |
||
The Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (No. 26 of 2013) further provides for the regulation and supervision of financial service providers and the enforcement of financial services legislation. |
