I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), hereby make the following order: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (Application to Tuberculosis in Non-Ruminant Animals) Order 2014 and come into operation on 6 March 2014. |
||
|
2. The provisions of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 apply to tuberculosis in animals other than ruminants. |
||
|

The effect of this Order is to make tuberculosis in non-ruminant animals a disease to which the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 applies; the Act already applies to tuberculosis in ruminants. |
