Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 of the Data Protection Act 2018 , hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Data Protection Act 2018 (Establishment Day) Order 2018. | ||
2. The 25th day of May 2018 is appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 . | ||
