I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 55 (amended by section 13 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 31 of 2013)) of the Health Act 1970 (No. 1 of 1970), having regard to the matters referred to in paragraph (c) of that subsection and having consulted with the Health Service Executive, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act 1970 (Fifth Schedule) Regulations 2018.

2. These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2019.

3. The following hospital is prescribed for the purposes of the Fifth Schedule (inserted by section 16 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 31 of 2013)) to the Health Act 1970 (No. 1 of 1970):

Children’s Health Ireland, Dublin

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations prescribe Children’s Health Ireland, Dublin, as a hospital for the purposes of the Fifth Schedule to the Health Act 1970 .

These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act 1970 (Fifth Schedule) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 January 2019.
