I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/442 of 11 March 20211 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/521 of 24 March 20212 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (COVID-19 Vaccines Export Authorisation) (No. 2) (Temporary Amendment) Regulations 2021. | ||
(2) These Regulations shall cease to have effect on 7 May 2021. | ||
2. The European Union (COVID-19 Vaccines Export Authorisation) (No. 2) Regulations 2021 shall have effect as if the following were substituted for Regulation 4(1): | ||
Where the Minister is satisfied that the requirements of the following will be complied with: | ||
(a) these Regulations, | ||
(b) the Commission Implementing Regulation, and | ||
(c) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/521 of 24 March 2021 | ||
he or she may, subject to these Regulations, grant an authorisation to a person for the purposes of Article 1 of the Commission Implementing Regulation. | ||
