I, MICHAEL MCGRATH, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 (1) of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 23 of 2014), following consultation with the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and being of the opinion that it is appropriate to do so having regard to the functions of the National Treasury Management Agency under Part 4 of that Act and the functions of the public authorities referred to in this Order, hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (Section 29(1)) Order 2022. | ||
2. The following public authorities are prescribed as State authorities for the purposes of paragraph 20 of Schedule 3 to the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 23 of 2014): | ||
(a) Higher Education Authority; | ||
(b) Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency; | ||
(c) Sport Ireland; | ||
(d) A Technological University within the meaning of the Technological Universities Act 2018 (No. 3 of 2018); | ||
(e) Waterways Ireland. | ||
