Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, THOMAS BYRNE, Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 (3) of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021) and the Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2024 ( S.I. No. 253 of 2024 ), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (Commencement) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 30th day of June 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 12; | ||
(b) section 13; | ||
(c) section 14; | ||
(d) section 16. | ||
