1. Neither the claimant nor the respondent appeared today. There was no explanation for the absence of either party. The tribunal considered that there was insufficient information on the papers to satisfy us that it is appropriate to make a finding in the claimant’s favour. The tribunal did not have the benefit of hearing evidence from the claimant. We therefore determine that the claimant’s claims be dismissed.
