DECISION 

 

The decision of the tribunal (Chairman Sitting Alone) is it does not have jurisdiction to determine the claimant’s claims for a redundancy payment, notice pay and holiday pay.

The respondent did not appear and was not represented.

 

1.     The claimant’s claims, as set out above, are dismissed as his originating claim form was not presented within the time limits specified by Article 199 of the Employment Rights (NI) Order 1996 and Article 7 of the Industrial Tribunals Extension of Jurisdiction Order (Northern Ireland) 1994. The tribunal refused to exercise its discretion to extend the relevant time limits for presenting the claim.
