SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (NORTHERN IRELAND) ACT 1992 SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTIONS AND BENEFITS (NORTHERN IRELAND) ACT 1992 SOCIAL SECURITY (CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) (NORTHERN IRELAND) ACT 1992 SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFIT Appeal to the Social Security Commissioner on a question of law from the decision of the Belfast Social Security Appeal Tribunal dated 12 May 1993 DECISION OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY COMMISSIONER

On 29 March 1994 I gave a decision in this matter relating to claimant's entitlement to certain additional requirements. It now appears that inadvertently an additional amount due to the claimant under the Supplementary Benefit (Requirement) Regulations in respect of an increase in her supplementary benefit relating to the 3 grandchildren who were living with her at that time was not included in that decision. As supplementary benefit was paid to her during the period from 1 September 1981 to 28 September 1982 I am satisfied that she is also entitled to the additional payment in respect of 3 children at the relevant scale rate relating to their ages during that period.

This decision should be read in conjunction with and is in addition to Decision C2/94 (Supp Ben). The amended decision is attached.
