AERODROMES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1971 - SECT 9

Power to carry on ancillary businesses.

9. If the Ministry is satisfied, with respect to any aerodrome provided by a
[district council] under section 8 that it is necessary or expedient that the
[district council] should be empowered to carry on in connection with the
aerodrome any particular business, being a business which appears to the
Ministry to be ancillary to the carrying on of an aerodrome but which the
[council] would not otherwise have power to carry on, the Ministry may
authorise that [district council], subject to such conditions, if any, as the
Ministry may think fit, to carry on that business in connection with the
aerodrome.
