AMENITY LANDS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1965 - SECT 24

Saving for Crown etc.

24.(1) Nothing in the foregoing provisions of this Act shall operate so as to
prejudice any powers or property of the Crown or of any government department
(including a department of the government of the United Kingdom) or to
authorise any matter or thing to be done without the consent of the Minister
of Transport or of the Crown Estate Commissioners in any case where that
consent is required to be obtained by virtue of section 9 of the Northern
Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1932.

(2) Nothing in the foregoing provisions of this Act shall be taken to
authorise the compulsory acquisition by the Ministry of any land which is
occupied by or for the purposes of any other government department (including
a department of the government of the United Kingdom) or
local or public authority.
