10.(1) There shall be [defrayed out of money provided by the Parliament of the United Kingdom such sums as the Secretary of State, with the approval of the Treasury], may determine to be necessary for the acquisition of land or buildings or of any estate or interest therein for use as courthouse accommodation or for the erection, improvement, alteration, enlargement, furnishing or equipment of courthouses or of other premises used or to be used as courthouse accommodation: Proviso rep. by SI 1973/2163 art.14(2) sch.6 Local custody and control of courthouse accommodation.
