7.Subs.(1)(3) spent; subs.(4)(5) rep. by SLR 1976; subs.(6)(7) spent

(8) As from the appointed day the Ministry shall be responsible pursuant to
section three of the Prison Act (Northern Ireland), 1953, for providing and
maintaining within the county borough of Belfast such accommodation as appears
to the Ministry to be necessary for the temporary detention of persons
awaiting trial or sentence.
