Writing off and payment by Parliament of losses of principal of Government Loans. 8. Where the whole or any part of the principal of any Government Loan is, by reason of its being unlikely to be recovered, directed by Parliament to be written off from the assets of the Loans Fund, any sum so directed to be written off shall be charged on and issued to the Loans Fund out of the Consolidated Fund.
