INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (NO.2) (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1976 - SECT 19



19.(1) There shall be established under the control and management of the
Department a fund to be called the Northern Ireland Maternity Pay Fund (in
this Order referred to as "the Maternity Pay Fund") out of which payments
shall be made in accordance with the following provisions of this Order.

(2) The Department shall prepare accounts of the Maternity Pay Fund in such
form as the Department of Finance may direct and shall send them to the
Comptroller and Auditor General not later than the end of the month of
November following the end of the financial year to which the accounts relate;
and the Comptroller and Auditor General shall examine and certify every such
account and shall lay copies thereof, together with his report thereon, before
the Assembly.

(3) Any money in the Maternity Pay Fund may from time to time be paid over to
the Department of Finance and invested by that Department in any such manner
as may be specified by an order of the Treasury for the time being in force
under section 22(1) of the National Savings Bank Act 1971.
