MAGISTRATES' COURTS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1964 - SECT 93

Issue of summons upon civil complaint.

93. Where at the time and place appointed for the hearing or adjourned hearing
of a complaint in a civil matter neither the complainant nor the defendant
appears the court may dismiss the complaint, order it to be struck out or
adjourn or further adjourn the hearing, or, if evidence has been received on a
previous occasion, proceed in their absence.
