PAWNBROKERS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1954 - SECT 18

Sale of pledges.

18.(1) It shall be lawful for a pawnbroker to sell or dispose or any
unredeemed pledge at any time after the expiration of the relevant
redemption period.

(2) A pawnbroker or the servant or agent of a pawnbroker who purchases any
pledge except at a public auction shall be guilty of an offence against
this Act.

Holder of pawn-ticket entitled to redeem.
