QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY OF BELFAST ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1926 - LONG
TITLE

An Act to alter the constitution of the Senate of the Queen's
University of Belfast.
[1st June 1926]
WHEREAS it is expedient to alter the constitution of the Queen's
University of Belfast as provided by this Act, and the proposed
alteration has been approved by a majority of those present and
voting at a meeting of each of the following bodies convened for
the purpose, namely, the Senate and the Academic Council and the
Convocation of the University:

Amendment of 1908 c.38

1. The Senate of the Queen's University of Belfast shall be
constituted in manner provided by the Schedule to this Act, and the
First Schedule to the Irish Universities Act, 1908, and Section IX
(5) of the Charter of the University shall have effect accordingly,
provided that nothing in this Act shall affect the tenure of office
of existing members of the Senate.

Short title.

2. This Act may be cited as the Queen's University of Belfast Act
(Northern Ireland), 1926.
