TRADE DISPUTES AND TRADE UNIONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1958 TRADE DISPUTES AND TRADE UNIONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1958 - LONG TITLE An Act to repeal certain provisions of the Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Act (Northern Ireland), 1927, and for purposes connected therewith. [30th December 1958] Repeal of certain provisions of 1927 c.20. TRADE DISPUTES AND TRADE UNIONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1958 - SECT 1 1. The provisions of sections one to three, sections five to seven and sub-section (2) of section nine of the Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Act (Northern Ireland), 1927, are hereby repealed and every enactment and rule of law amended or otherwise affected by those provisions shall, as from the commencement of this Act, have effect as if those provisions had not been passed. TRADE DISPUTES AND TRADE UNIONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1958 - SECT 2 Short title, construction and citation. 2.(1) This Act may be cited as the Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Acts (Northern Ireland), 1958. (2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Trade Union Acts (Northern Ireland), 1871 to 1940, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Trade Union Acts (Northern Ireland), 1871 to 1958.
