Transitional provisions
3.
An application for a consent under sections 7 or 8 of the Water Act (Northern Ireland) 1972[2] ("the 1972 Act") or a review of a consent under section 10(1) of that Act, which has not been decided before the 24th August 2001 shall be treated as an application for a consent or a variation under paragraphs 1 or 7 of Schedule 1 to the 1999 Order.

A consent issued under sections 7 or 8 of the 1972 Act shall be deemed to be a consent issued under the provisions of Article 9(3) and Schedule 1 to the 1999 Order and shall be subject to the provisions of that Order.
5.
- (1) A consent referred to in Article 4 shall be subject to a review under paragraphs 5 and 6 of Schedule 1 to the 1999 Order -
(2) For the purposes of paragraph 6(1) of Schedule 1 to the 1999 Order notices by virtue of paragraph 5(2) or (4)(c) may be served on or after the dates respectively referred to in paragraph (1).
