The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 15(1) and 15(3) of, and paragraph 2(1)(b) of Schedule 1 to, the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf.
1. This Order may be cited as the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2010.
2. In this Order-
"the 2003 Order" means the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003;
"the Corporation" means the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation established under Article 3;
"the Maze/Long Kesh site" means the area of land described in the Schedule.
3. There is hereby established a development corporation within the meaning of Article 15(1) of the 2003 Order, to be known as the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation.
4. The Corporation shall exercise its functions in relation to the relevant site known as the Maze/Long Kesh site.
5. In addition to the chairman, the corporation shall consist of 10 other members.

All that and those lands situated in the townland of Maze, Barony of Iveagh Lower (Upper Half) and County of Down registered in the Land Registry of Northern Ireland as being part of the following Folios and are shown outlined in black on the map attached:

This Statutory Rule establishes a Development Corporation under Article 15(1) of the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 initially to progress the development of the Maze/Long Kesh site. The Rule also specifies the number of members the Development Corporation shall have, in accordance with Article 15(3) of, and paragraph 2(1)(b) of Schedule 1 to, that Order.
