The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 57(4)(a) of the Agriculture Act 2020( 1), makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agriculture (2020 Act)(Commencement No. 1) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2022.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of paragraph 8 of Part 2 of Schedule 6 (exceptional market conditions: powers available to DAERA) to the Agriculture Act 2020 is 28th March 2022.
