1. This was an appeal against the decision of the First-tier Tribunal (Judge K Henderson) promulgated on 3 February 2014.
2. The appellant wrote to the Tribunal on 19 August 2014 indicating that he wished to withdraw his appeal.
3. In line with Rule 17 (1) (a) of The Tribunal Procedure (Upper Tribunal) Rules 2008 the Tribunal consents to the withdrawal of the appellant’s appeal to the Upper Tribunal.
4. The appeal to the Upper Tribunal is withdrawn. The decision of the First-tier Tribunal stands.
