    APPEARANCES

For the Appellant NO APPEARANCE BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE APPELLANT
For the Respondent NO APPEARANCE BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE RESPONDENT

MR JUSTICE MORISON (PRESIDENT): In this case an Industrial Tribunal gave a decision on 15th April 1998 which was contained in writing and sent to the parties on 13th May 1998 ordering Mrs Watt to pay to the applicant, Mrs Currie, the sum of £84, being that which had been unlawfully deducted from her wages.

A Notice of Appeal was presented to the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Sometime on or after 9th May 1998 a letter in these terms on behalf of Mrs Watt was received:

"Following advice received by Mrs Watts in regard to this appeal, I am instructed to inform you that this particular appeal is being withdrawn."

This morning we have had a fax from Mrs Currie consenting to the withdrawal.

Accordingly, the only order that is made in this case is that the appeal is dismissed on being withdrawn.
