Decision notes | [2019] UKFTT 108 (PC). Application for first registration of land on the riverbank. In opposing a previous application by the Port of London Authority the Applicant had not made an application for registration itself, although it was clear in the earlier reference that it claimed to have a paper title to the land beside which its various boats were moored. This was that eventual application for title; HELD that they had a paper title to the strip of land claimed, alternatively that they had established title by adverse possession. Respondent's claim that land was a public highway rejected insofar as in dispute. Incorrect meaning of ‘wharf’ as “warehouse at river frontage” advanced by Applicant’s representative |
