Summary: The complainant submitted a request to the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary for information relating to proceedings taken against a police officer in the first half of 2002. The public authority refused the request under section 12(1) of the Act as it estimated that the cost of compliance would exceed the -˜appropriate limit-™ of 18 hours. The Commissioner finds that the cost of compliance would exceed the 18 hour limit and therefore section 12(1) of the Act was applied correctly.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 12 - Complaint Not upheld
