Summary: The complainant made a number of requests for information relating to the public authority-™s investigation of Bearwood Corporate Services Ltd and donations to the Conservative Party. The public authority disclosed some of the requested information. However, it also relied upon sections 30(1)(a)(i), 31(1)(g), 31(2)(a), 40(2), 41(1) and 42(1). After investigating the case the Commissioner decided that the requested information was exempt under section 30(1)(a)(i). However, the Commissioner considers that the public authority failed to meet the requirements of section 17.
