Summary: The complainant made a series of multipart requests to NHS Blackpool (the trust) in respect of different GP services paid for by the trust. The trust provided some information in its initial response and decided to disclose further information during the course of the Commissioner-™s investigation. The trust relied on section 43(2) to withhold the remaining information. The Commissioner-™s decision is that section 43(2) was not engaged in respect of some of the withheld information, that a small amount of the requested information is not held, and that the remainder of the information was correctly withheld under section 43(2). The Commissioner requires the public authority to disclose the withheld information in respect of which section 43(2) is not engaged (points 3 (f), and 5 (c) and (f)).
