Summary: The complainant has requested information from Hertfordshire County Council (-˜the council-™) relating to Wendy Fair Markets Limited. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the council has correctly applied the law enforcement exemption at section 31 of the FOIA and the exemption for legal professional privilege at section 42 of the FOIA and, in both cases, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
