BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

Summary: The complainant has requested particular pieces of correspondence and documents from Monitor. Monitor provided the complainant with all of the information requested apart from one letter which it said it does not hold. The Commissioner-™s decision is that Monitor does not hold the letter under section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). The Commissioner does however consider Monitor breached section 10(1) FOIA as it did not provide the information it does hold within 20 working days of the request being made. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 1 - Complaint Not upheld, FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld
