The complainant has requested information about any disciplinary action taken against employees of the former Stockport PCT. The Department of Health (DoH) refused to provide the information under section 12(1) on the basis that it would exceed the cost limit to locate and retrieve the information. The Commissioner’s decision is that DoH was entitled to rely on section 12(1). The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any further action on this matter.
