2 September 2014, Local government (Parish council)
The complainant has requested information relating to an agenda for a meeting held by West Felton Parish Council (the “Council”). The Council refused to comply with the request for information as it deemed the request to be vexatious in accordance with section 14 of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the request is vexatious and that the Council had correctly applied section 14 of the FOIA to refuse the requested information. The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps.
FOI 14: Not upheld
