30 September 2014, Education (School)
The complainant has requested from Tirlebrook Primary School (“the School”) information relating to various matters including information as to when the staff complaints policy was approved by the Governing body together with related equality impact assessment and information about which person makes decisions in relation to freedom of information requests. Two requests were submitted on 13 March 2014. The School provided some of the information requested in the first request dated 13 March 2014. The School failed to deal with all parts of the second request within the statutory time limits and did not provide a full response to this second request until requested to do so by the Information Commissioner. The Commissioner’s decision is that the School has failed to provide a response to the request within the statutory time frame of 20 working days. He upholds the complaint but requires no further action to be taken as a response has now been provided to the complainant.
