Home Office

The complainant has requested and equality impact assessment from the Home Office (the “HO”). The HO refused to disclose the information held, citing sections 31(1) (law enforcement) and 40(2) (personal information) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the HO was entitled to rely on section 31(1)(e) to withhold the requested information. No steps are required.
