Gambling Commission

The complainant has requested information relating to the company, now in administration, BetIndex Limited, trading as Football Index.  The Gambling Commission (GC) refused to disclose the requested information, citing section 31(1)(g) by virtue of subsection 31(2)(c) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the exemption is engaged but that the public interest lies in disclosure. The Commissioner requires the GC to disclose the requested information to the complainant.

FOI 31: Complaint upheld

Decision notice: ic-109314
