Kent County Council

The complainant requested from Kent County Council historic maps that are stored at the local records office. The Council refused to provide the requested information under regulation 6(1)(b) of the EIR, as it considered the information requested to be publicly available and easily accessible to the complainant. The Commissioner’s decision is that the information is publicly available and easily accessible to the complainant, and therefore regulation 6(1)(b) of the EIR is engaged. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.

EIR 6(1)(b): Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 144241
