Summary
The Hearing Officer concluded that the very small use which had been made of the mark in the course of approaches made to contacts in the UK market did not constitute ‘genuine’ use. No proper reasons for non-use had been advanced. The Hearing Officer therefore ordered that the mark be revoked with effect from the date of the application for revocation.
