Summary
The application relates to a computer based system for financial trading in 'Swaps'. Terms for exchange of interest or currency deals are set out on specialised term sheets and one or more dealers can be asked to indicate terms on which they would be interested in participating in a deal or to take part in an auction. It was held that the invention claimed in the specification was a method of doing business and that there was no technical contribution that which would prevent its exclusion from patentability.
