Summary
The invention relates to a networked system for administering the renewal of intellectual property rights such as patents and trade marks. The advance was held to be confined to a mental act and a computer program as such (CFPH LLC’s Application [2006] RPC 5 and Macrossan’s Application [2006] EWHC 705 followed) and the application refused.
