Summary
An application for a fire surround or radiator cover in which MDF parts are joined by push fit connectors was refused as being obvious. The hearing officer found that the invention lacked an inventive step on the basis of either of two prior art documents to a fire surround and a radiator cover, which included joining some parts by push fit connectors, or the accepted state of the art as disclosed in the description, in combination with a patent document to the connector itself.
