In his decision dated 20th July 2007 (BL O/204/07) The Hearing Officer found in favour of the opponent.
In this decision the Hearing Officer awarded normal costs of some £2600 and also awarded the opponent, who had presented himself for cross-examination, the sum of £221.50 to cover his travel and accommodation expenses. The Hearing Officer refused a request to cover costs such as notional costs of time spent away from work.
