Summary
The invention related to electronic financial transactions, where instead of using real account numbers, a simulated account number is used for the financial transaction which simulates a conventional account number. The actual account number is incorporated into the simulated account number and may be extracted by a designated financial institution processing facility. The hearing officer found that the invention was excluded from patentability as a program for a computer as such and a method of doing business as such.
