Summary
In her interim decision (BL O/518/13), the Hearing Officer refused the application for lack of inventive step. However, she found that the invention defined by the amended claims proposed at the hearing met the requirements of section 1(1)(b) and gave the applicant one month from the date of the decision to formally file these amendments. The amendments were filed within the specified period and put the case in order for grant.
