Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 109(d) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Disablement Services Authority) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 20th August 1987.
2. The Disablement Services Authority is hereby designated as an authority to which section 109 of the National Health Service Act 1977 (bodies subject to investigation by Health Service Commissioner) applies.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order designates the Disablement Services Authority as a "relevant body" within the meaning of section 109 of the National Health Service Act 1977 so that the Health Service Commissioner for England may investigate complaints which relate to the Authority or its officers.
