The Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 32) Order 1988

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(3) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975(1) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act") and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after giving those persons affected an opportunity of being heard with respect to the matter, hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Order may be cited as the Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 32) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 31st October 1988.

2. For the purposes of Part III of the Act, each person specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto is hereby designated as the owner of each pipe-line described in Part II of the Schedule.

PART IDESIGNATED OWNERS

Blackfriars Oil and Gas Ltd., whose registered office is at Carmelite House, Carmelite Street, London EC4Y 0JA.

Elf Oil and Gas Ltd., whose registered office is at 197 Knightsbridge, London SW7 1RZ.

Hamilton Brothers UK Petroleum Corporation, whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

Hamilton Oil GB p.l.c., whose registered office is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

Renown Petroleum Ltd., whose registered office is at 20 Fenchurch Street, London EC3P 3DB.

Texaco North Sea UK Company, whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at 1 Knightsbridge Green, London SW1X 7QJ.

Note

In this Schedule-

"Argyll Base Manifold" means the seabed manifold installed above the Argyll oilfield in 1974.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates the companies listed in Part I of the Schedule as owners of the pipe-lines described in Part II of the Schedule.

The pipe-lines are used in connection with production from the Argyll oilfield, situated east of the Fife Region of Scotland.
